Down to Earth Conservation Education offers fun-filled learning experiences for students of all ages. Established in 1984, we are committed to teaching respect for, and understanding of all living things, the environment and vanishing indigenous cultures worldwide. Through our innovative educational programs, students are treated to curriculum-based presentations of our personal research journeys around the world and amazing "hands-on" learning displays.
Extensive "hands-on" learning displays will be provided for all Social Studies, Geography and Science presentations. Wildlife displays are courtesy of Environment Canada (Canadian Wildlife Service), Ministry of Natural Resources and public donations. Cultural displays are courtesy of Loretta Penny.
Michael McLean is an avid political history buff with a strong interest toward human rights and the preservation of indigenous peoples around the world. From his humble upbringing in the Caribbean to a world traveller, Michael pulls from his roots and experiences, in adding an element of "adventure" to all performances.
Down to Earth Conservation Education proudly connects students to the world around them by bringing environmental and cultural- based presentations to schools in Canada and the U.S.
